FAQ List

Can you print in full color?

Currently, we offer single-color printing. For multi-color or full-color parts, we recommend post-processing painting. Contact us for specific color requirements.

Do you offer post-processing services like sanding, painting, or assembly?

Yes. We provide sanding, polishing, painting, vapor smoothing (for SLA), and basic assembly. Additional charges apply based on complexity.

What is the difference between SLA, SLS, and FDM?

SLA (resin) offers the highest detail and smooth surface finish, ideal for small, intricate parts. SLS (nylon powder) produces strong, functional parts without supports. FDM (thermoplastic filament) is cost-effective for larger, less detailed prototypes.

What is the maximum part size you can 3D print?

SLA and SLS printers support up to 500×500×500mm. FDM printers go up to 1000×800×600mm. For larger parts, we can split and bond sections.

What materials do you offer for 3D printing?

SLA: standard, tough, flexible, high-temp, transparent, and castable resins. SLS: PA12 nylon and glass-filled nylon. FDM: ABS, PC, PLA, PETG, TPU, and carbon-fiber reinforced filament.

What is the fastest turnaround time for 3D printed parts?

Simple parts can ship in as little as 1 business day. Complex geometries typically take 3–5 days. Express service is available upon request.

Can you produce low-volume production runs (100–1000 parts) using CNC?

Yes. CNC machining is ideal for 1 to 10,000 parts where injection molding is not cost-effective. No mold investment required.

Do I need to provide a 3D CAD file?

Yes, a 3D CAD file (STEP, IGES, STL, or X_T) is required for an accurate quote. If you only have a 2D drawing, we can help convert it to 3D for a small fee.

What is the difference between 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining?

3-axis cuts in X, Y, Z directions – suitable for flat and simple parts. 4-axis adds rotation for undercuts. 5-axis enables complex geometries with a single setup, reducing errors and improving surface finish.

Can you machine both plastics and metals?

Yes. We machine engineering plastics (ABS, PC, Nylon, POM, PEEK, PTFE, etc.) and metals (aluminum 6061/7075, brass, stainless steel 304/316, mild steel, titanium).

What is the fastest turnaround for a CNC machined prototype?

Simple plastic parts can be machined and shipped in as little as 3–5 business days. More complex geometries or metal parts typically take 5–10 days.

What tolerances can you achieve with CNC machining?

We hold standard tolerances of ±0.05mm for plastic parts and ±0.01mm for metal parts. For critical features, we can achieve up to ±0.005mm (0.0002 inches).
